They say location is the most important aspect of any accommodation when you’re taking a city break, and the spectacular city of Florence is certainly one to take one’s breath away so you won’t want to be hindered by having poor access to her splendorous delights. Luckily, the historical centre of the Cradle of the Renaissance is very small as major cities go, and you won’t need to use a lot of transport options other than your own feet.

The Hotel Astor enjoys a choice position just on the edge of town, a gentle stroll if you take the fancy or a ten-minute bus ride. What’s more, our tranquil residential area lets you see more of the real Florence, with finer and better value restaurants and boutiques and the splendid Parco delle Cascine just down the road.

Hotel Astor Florence is one of those extremely rare accommodations in Florence city centre that has its own private parking on site for our guests to use (at a competitive fee of 10 Euros a day). We offer a great Italian buffet breakfast as well as a few savoury options for our foreign guests. Reception is staffed 24/7 and our expert concierge is on hand for bookings and recommendations. Pets are also welcome.
